1. Clean the Surface: The first step is to thoroughly clean the surface of the garage floor. This includes removing any dirt, debris, oils, or other contaminants using a detergent and a scrub brush. For tougher stains, you may need to use an industrial degreaser. Once the surface is clean, make sure to allow it to dry completely before proceeding.

2. Repair Cracks and Holes: Any cracks or holes in the floor should be repaired before applying epoxy coating. This can usually be done with a concrete patching compound, which can be applied with a trowel or putty knife and then smoothed out with a damp rag.

1. Mix Epoxy Coating: Start by mixing the two components of the epoxy coating together according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure that you stir thoroughly until you have an even consistency.

2. Apply First Coat: Once mixed, you can begin applying the first coat of epoxy coating to the floor with a roller or brush. Start at one corner of the room and work your way out in even strokes until you have covered the entire floor with a thin layer of epoxy coating. Let this first coat dry completely before proceeding to the next step.

3. Apply Second Coat: Once the first coat has dried completely, you can begin applying the second coat of epoxy coating in much the same way as you did for the first coat. Again, start in one corner of the room and work your way out in even strokes until you have covered the entire floor with a thin layer of epoxy coating. Let this second coat also dry completely before proceeding to the next step.

4. Apply Final Coat: Finally, apply one last coat of epoxy coating in much the same way as before, starting in one corner of the room and working your way out until you have covered the entire floor with a thin layer of epoxy coating. Let this final coat dry completely before walking on it or returning items back into your garage.
